This individual will provide reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall the organizational strategy.
Individual will be responsible for receiving invoices and paying, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
As a part of the organizational management the individual will assist with budgeting, reporting, business operations, and finance strategy.
As the Financial Operations Manager, you'll work as part of a team with skills and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Manage, perform, and execute timely reporting related to the general ledger, accounts payable, grants management and budget preparation.
Prepare accurate and meaningful financial statements.
Safeguard and manage the organization's financial assets (cash and capital investments).
Comply with federal and state reporting requirements.
Analyze, develop, implement and monitor compliance with current financial policies and procedures.
Review and make recommendations regarding requests for capital expenditures and other non-personnel expenditures.
Manage cash flow, program transfers, and program/services generated revenue.
Coordinate preparation of required information/documents for independent auditors.
Coordinate preparation of required financial reporting requirements for external/internal financial management reports.
Attend and/or participate in conferences, meetings, seminars and training related to financial operations.
Develop and maintain good working relationships within the organization and community.
Provide leadership and guidance in reviewing, analyzing, evaluating and reporting on program progress in financial terms.
Perform other related duties as required or assigned by the CEO.
Support principles of Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by completing PCMH education modules/training which may include Patient Self Management, Care Coordination, Population Management, Whole Person Care, and Communication Skills.
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Knowledgeable in computer-based medical accounting systems preferred.
Must be knowledgeable in the nature and characteristics of administration including laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to financial operations and reporting requirements.
Must be professional in appearance.
EDUCATION/
Experience:
A four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Management.
Three
years of experience in the field of accounting/finance including experience with budget preparation, fiscal management, computer accounting programs, and grants management supervision is preferred.
Prior experience working in a Healthcare environment is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, proofread and interpret documents, instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write correspondence and reports.
Ability to communicate effectively in person (including presentations) and via telephone.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles when calculating figures and amounts.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to manage and solve problems for multiple priorities, initiatives, and projects.
