Lucas Mill dedicated slabbing sawmills (also known as dedicated slabbers) are specifically designed for cutting large wood slabs. Dedicated slabbers use the patented Lucas Mill frame system to make setup and operation productive and simple. These machines create large, natural edges slabs from logs, stumps, burls and root balls with accurate results. Dedicated slabbers use specially designed ripping chainsaw chain to cut smooth and accurately through the largest and toughest of woods. The Model DSM 23 trolley is designed to fit on an existing Lucas Mill frame system. This trolley unit comes with an extra long bar and cuts up to a 76" wide slab, and up to 19.7" thick. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
